Location - Mouse's Room - Mouse/Brady

Mouse rummaged through some of her stuff. She knew she had atleast two jump ropes, but where had they been put? She checked her shelves and in the toy box Salene had set up in her room. She pulled everything out and was happy to find them on the very bottom. "Ah HA!" She was excited, forgetting to put everything back.

Brady didn't slow down even though her Mommy and Salene had told her to, though she pretended, stopping before taking off again. She rounded the doorway to Mouse's room slowly however, kind of peeking into her room. She jumped with Mouse's exclaimation, her eyes growing wide at the mess all over the room, Salene let Mouse keep her room like this? What fun! Brady would surely have more fun with her toys if they were all over her floor and she could just sit down and play and not have to worry about taking them out and putting them back! She wondered if her Mommy would let her do that too, but she doubted it. "Didya find em Mouse?" she asked, her eyes bright as she spied the jump ropes, and she clapped her hands, how exciting! Something to do!

Mouse held up the jump ropes for Brady to see. They were sort of old...the ropes themselves fraying a bit, but still very useable. "I knew I had some. Do you know how to skip rope?" Mouse hadn't thought about this and actually it had been awhile since she had, being busy with so many other things. "I only have two so I guess we'll have to share if someone else wants to join us." She then spotted the mess she had made in her mad search for the ropes. "Uhm...let me throw these things back into the box first, okay?" She randomly began flinging toys into the box. The lid would never shut, but she could take care of that later.

Brady moved into the room, nodding, and then she began to help, if she tossed toys into the bin at the same time, they'd get done faster! Brady tossed toys just as fast as Mouse (well, almost) did and before she could even tell they had finished. "I don't know if I can skip rope, but you'll show me right?" Brady couldn't remember now, it had just sounded like a lot of fun at breakfast, but now that she thought about it, she wasn't exactly sure if she knew how or not.

"It's okay. It's not that hard. Let's go into the hallway. More room." Mouse led her out of her room. The hallway was big enough for skipping rope and if they were careful they could even skip down it instead of staying in one place. She gave one of the ropes to Brady and untangled the one she had. "Start with it behind you and then swing it over your head and when it gets to your feet jump over it." Mouse showed her, jumping five times in a row before stopping. "See?"

Mouse wasn't paying attention to Brady as she continued to try to convince her to go downstairs. She heard someone cheerily call out Mommy and got too curious not to go look over the railing again. She saw the littlest girl hugging Salene and frowned even harder. Was she really Salene's daughter? Salene had never told her she had been married and now she hadn't told her she had kids? "HEY!" She yelled down to the group, unhappy.

Brady jumped at the way Mouse yelled HEY! What was going on? Brady couldn't take it anymore, she had to see what was down there, how many kids and what their ages were, and she gave up on the staying away from the railing bit and crept forward, standing next to Mouse and pressing her face against the railing. "Hello!" she called cheerfully, reaching her hand through the bars and waving happily. There were lots of kids! Brady could count 6 all together! "Want to play with us?" Brady called, then turned to Mouse, lowering her voice, "Let's go down there and play Mouse, come on Mouse, please, can we please?"

"Brady!" Mouse couldn't believe what she had done and now atleast two of the girls were looking at them. One had even waved! Mouse hit her head against the banister feeling doomed. Brady wouldn't stop pestering her if they didn't go and she knew someone had to help Brady down the stairs and at the moment it looked like she was the only one. "Fine. We'll go." She grumped.

Brady gave a little hop and shout, "YEAH!" This was great! There were kids in the Mall, and they weren't just here to be seen by Patch or to march around in the cage room, they were here to stay! Which meant they were here to play too! Brady was beside herself with enthusiasm, even if Mouse was being grumpy. She felt instantly nervous, if Mouse was so upset about this, maybe it was a bad idea. Brady looked around for Lily and didn't see her, "Where did I leave Lily?" She felt a little panicked now, she couldn't remember where the bunny was! She had her last at...breakfast! "I have to get Lily," she informed her, but tilted her head, "You're all grumpy. Like Lex," she wrinkled her nose and moved past Mouse now, heading to get Lily from the Extra Cafe where she'd eaten breakfast.
