In the woods...close enough to hear...

Ryan moved stealthily through the woods. Having lived there for the past few years it came almost naturally now. He'd had to knock out two outer sentries already as he drew closer to the compound. Exactly what he was going to do to rescue Sal and his baby he really wasn't sure. He was certain it had something to do with knocking alot of heads

Lex heard some kind of commotion coming from the woods behind him. He turned around and headed back to the compound, sure the sounds were coming from there. Moving as quickly and as quitly as he could. Once he was close enogh the hear voices more clearly he stop moving and crouched down on the ground.

[OOC: sorry I'm taking so long......personal stuff keep getting in the way of my play time]

Ryan continued his unstealthy rush through the woods determined that nothing would get in the way of his reaching the compound.

He saw a movement in the underbrush ahead of him. Certain it was another Chosen guard he reached out and pulled them out of the leaves and branches, holding them up in the air and drawing his arm back.

But the face before him was not that of a Chosen guard it was...

"Lex...?"

"Ryan!?" Lex was a bit freaked out......Not only was it a shock to see Ryan but he had first thought he had gotten caught by Salene and Bray's captors.

He hoped Ryan would put him down before anyone else showed up. "Ryan, where did you come from?" Lex had no idea what to say. It had been so long since he had seen Ryan, and though he was happy to see his friend, there were other things on his mind.

Ryan set Lex back down on his feet, his mind reeling. He had known he would probably run into his old tribe mates, but truthfully he hadn't thought about it. "I, uhm..." Ryan stumbled over his words not sure what he would say to the man who had been his best friend. The last time he'd seen Lex had been when Lex had given him the ring to give Tai San...when he had told Lex he was going to be a father.

Remembering that brought him back to the present - Sal and his baby. "It's good to see you, Lex." Under any other circumstances this would have been accompanied by a friendly smile. Under other circumstances. "But right now I've a feeling we're both here for the same reasons." He glanced ahead through the trees towards the shouting.

And then, off to the side there were voices much closer. She motioned the girls closer and peered around a tree. Lex stood facing a blonde man with his back to her. He looked somehow familiar. Lex, you idiot! She fumed. Leave it to him to be standing around in a forest occupied by the Chosen having a conversation with someone.

She motioned for Patsy and Cloe to see if they could catch sight of who the other man was.

Cloe crept behind May silently. She guessed Lex was also looking for the missing MallRats. Cloe stared staright ahead. Without warning, Cloe fell to the groun with an "Oumph". SShe looked back and saw the root she tripped on. "Ow..." Tears formed in Cloe's eyes. She had blown their cover. May wouldn't be happy. Cloe laid still, trying not to draw any more attention than she had already.

May couldn't help it - she groaned. She certainly wasn't afraid of Lex and whoever he was talking to, but this wasn't exactly how she had wanted to make their presence known.

Cloe huffed and picked herself up off the ground. 'stupid trees.' she thought. Cloe rolled her eyes.

[OOC: The whole comment order has gotten a bit messed up, we should all move it over here, and sorry I've been missing all weekend!]

Patsy stepped away from Ryan as the conversation got more tense, moving towards T-Guns. She didn't want to think about stuff like that, even though it was silly to think they didn't need the weapons.

"Ryan. We're going to rescue everyone who is missing. Do you want to help us?"

Patsy probably should have realized that if he was already here that was probably what he was planning on doing - but she said it anyway.

Cloe looked at Patsy. t-guns meant Technos and Ved used to be a Techno. She wondered if she should bring Ved up.

"Of course he's going to rescue Salene! They're Married!" Cloe smiled at Ryan like the young child she once was.

Patsy smiled, happily remebering the wedding.

"Salene will be so happy to see you!"

Cloe nodded.

"We'll be a family again Ryan!"
