Does anyone know how unemployment works? I have not been fired/laid-off from a job EVAR! So, if anyone has any knowledge it would be great. Also, if you know how 401K works that would be swell too!

So, besides school I won't be doing shit for a bit.

I would ask tdotruvon, he has a PHD in the area of Unemployment and Collecting. I think he's been fired/laid off from more jobs than anyone I've ever met. Though he's a little rusty these days with his new found sobriety. :)

call the nys dept of labor..or go visit their web site..as the last time I collect unemployment was in 1998!
