15 days ago, something like that, my ex girlfriend was hurt at work. she's a firefighter, and while she was coming out of a house where the basement was the origin point of the blaze, the floor collapsed underneath her and her partner and she fell through; hanging from the floorboards that she managed to grab as she fell. she was basically turned ( Read more... )

Hi. I found your journal through a Guild Wars forum as I randomly clicked on interesting user pics - something I do from time to time. :)

I just wanted to leave a short note telling you that I hope your ex recuperates quickly. It sucks about her husband. Too bad he can't put whatever strange/quirky/odd feelings he has aside to allow you the time to see her.

Thank you very much for your kind words. That was actually last year (my journal has been friends only for quite some time) and she did manage to recover as well as can be expected. I wandered by your journal after seeing this comment, and have to say you have a beautiful design. Thank you again for the thoughts.

Ya know, I noticed the date of your entry AFTER I hit 'post', but didn't have time to respond with an apology. I should really start looking at dates before I just randomly start up a conversation in LJ. lol

It's most certainly good to hear that she's doing better! Her whole ordeal must have been very emotional and physically trying for her...and her loved ones.

Thanks for the compliment. I just started up a fresh journal after five years of keeping another on LJ, so I'm always looking for new friends. If you happen to have room for a stranger who is horrible with keeping an eye on dates, feel free to add me.

Nooo .. the thought was as genuine whether the accident happened last year or last week, and I thought it was very kind of you to voice it. Believe me, I've seen conversations start up in LJ on far worse footing! xD
I can -always- make room for a wonderful soul. I'm a bit more candid in my journal these days (read: I rave a bit because the people reading aren't surprised by me any more heh) but if you've got a strong constitution, I may not drive you too crazy.
