Catching up on the SS/HG Exchange at the mo. So much good stuff! My week was ri-donk-ulously busy, so I'm about 10 stories behind, but I'm loving them all so far.
I particularly enjoyed the gift for Droxy - essays about Snape are awesome.

I think of you every time Brian May comes up. He's coming to Philadelphia next month to promote a book he wrote about old photographs. I had to double-check to make sure it was him. I asked my almost-six-year-old if she wanted to come and described him as a guy who was really cool, famous for being a rock guitarist, but also a math and science geek. "Math and science geek? I want to meet him! I want to meet him!" Heh heh heh heh heh.

Yeah, Brian does astronomy, old photos, and rock. He's got a blog, and he's always going on about stereo photos, which as far as I can gather is two photos of the same thing from taken from slightly different angles, and when you put them together (or squint at both at once) they give the illusion of being 3-D.
He's definitely a guy with unusual obsessions (says the Snape addict!).
