I miss 2005.

Late night drives to West Triangle, dinners out, watching sunsets at every place possible (towers, Manila bay, my backyard), late afternoons listening to Death Cab, late nights at the village park laying at the slides and stargazing, Saguijo, youth.

Such a shame I had to ruin it all.

Simply because failure meant a stripping away of the inessential. I stopped pretending to myself that I was anything other than what I was, and began to direct all my energy into finishing the only work that mattered to me.
