I'm like really frustrated, and not sure what to do! My step-daughter is ten years old, and is shy. I feel her pain, cause I too was shy, and still am to a point. Hmmmm, this is a tough one because you know i was the same way except my parents did make me try new things by myself. I did take baton by myself and go to GA (youth group) at a church by myself and lots of daycamps and sleepover camps, ect. but then again i still felt like an outsider and never really had friends within these groups. Even when i went to camp it was so hard because i was lucky if i even made one friend.I just always felt out of my element in places where people formed groups and teams and worked together, lol ( ... )

yep, five hours for a pair of silk purple panties with black polka dots and lace on the sides with a playboy bunny symbol in the corner. good god, from the days of the week to playboy bunnies. heck, we thought those floral silk nighties (we bought later) were sexy.
but we gave each other strength.she will find that friend too someday and that will help her become more independent.she has to connect and identify to something or some person first to help her little soul get its wings.
directing her to her interest though is a great start.

and ron...such a typical man to think of what is easiest for them. at least he admits his mistake in it and understands that.:)

thinking of you today ! yeah, i seen some wicker furniture, lol, and remembered how we loved it sooo much. we even wanted a wicker bedroom set i think.

Thats so funny! I remember that wicker store by the Sabal Palm movie theatre. We would look for hours for our furniture.

Um, no not yet! I still have my sticky note on my desk. We just moved over the weekend and as soon as I get everything put up and settled down I will watch it. :) I was even taking a summer class (Biology) and with moving and all I had to drop the class till later, this moving stuff sucks. You find stuff you forgot you had, and now I don't know were to put everything, Grrrr!!!!!
