I know it is hard to leave the house sometimes to go to events that aren't fully in our heart but it always feels god after we get back anyways and we are glad we dd it. That's because it is better to give then to receive. The world needs the good energy out there in it so whenever possible, even if you don't feel like it, when you're called you have to go.
At our Human Society all the dogs available for adoption will remain that way and won't be put down. They put the dogs through a series of test like taking away the dogs food or toy, ect and testing their aggression. If they pass they are placed for adoption until someone gets them. I asked which dogs were on the "last row" when we adopted Sophie and that's what they told us.
Sadly though they put down something like -brace yourself- 10,000 dogs and cats a month. :(
Glad to see Karyn driving again, lol.
