I'm in Colombia, and there's a lot of fruit here. I promise a real update very soon, but for now, here's something silly that occurred to me while I was sitting at lunch.

I am so glad that the effects of The Muppet Show persist into the present day.

What are you doing in Colombia?

Dad and I sing it sometimes, and I honestly couldn't think of anything else when the waiter asked me what kind of juice I wanted. There was no possible answer except, "Guanábana, por favor," and suppressing the desire to sing references at unsuspecting wait staff.

Right now I'm at job orientation in Bogotá. In a week and a half I move to my placement city. I'm teaching English to software design students in a technical school.

I'll be home in July unless plans change.
