Thinking out loud
I felt oddly impacted by the death of Roger Ebert for whom I have been a long time fan. I follow him on twitter and his keen mind has illuminated many a different topic for me. Yesterday was an 88 degree day. Summer is going to be miserable. So, I got up early and started in on the yard work while temps were bearable. I did wear myself out and had little energy the rest of the day, out of shape :b
Stopped by the nursery the other day for some pot filler and spotted this guy again

I am weary of working on this painting, at three feet its quite big. I can not get satisfied with the clouds so I think I will give a rest for at least a week and the revisit it with fresh eyes. J said this morning, he likes it better when I work big, and so do I but it does take a lot longer.
