If they're children, then I'm a bad parent, because some of them could be so much better than they are, and I hate them for it.

I guess it depends on how much you are willing to revisit old music.

Whenever doing something creative record as many fragments as possible. Later on figure out how they go together. Which can and cannot be combined.

Ideas are like Legos. Don't hate them like bad children.
