thanks for the thoughts, its much appreciated. apparently my father and his family have made it safely to Baton Rouge, where my stepmom's family lives. I haven't spoken to him since all the cellphone lines are down, but he spoke to my cousin Michael who I called last night, and he filled me in on what's up. so far reports are sounding like the worst didn't happen, which I'm thankful for. my main concern at this point is the extent of the wind damage, which I'm not sure has been assessed yet. just gotta keep our fingers crossed at this point.
