Here they are called Lavender 'Araucanas', in the US that'd be 'Americanas'. These ones have tails (not the rumpless versions) and lay green/blue eggs- or will when they are old enough.

Those are really cute chickens! The eggs sound interesting, too. Are you keeping them only for the eggs or will you be eating the chickens too, too?

Coming from a heritage of chickens (both sides of the family raised various breeds, that is the snazziest chicken coop I've ever seen! Nice job!

Ohhhh, birdies birdies birdies birdies! And a full-sized human door! Such pretty girls! Have you heard them talking to each other yet?

We had four golden/brown Araucanas of that type, and they were just hilarious when teenage. Long long legs, very fast runners.
