Is it beer? I would so quickly buy beer with a squid or octopus on the label. Can there be a preying mantis? Or is that not a NZ creature?

It is beer. We do have a lot of imported animals here, including preying mantises, and you never know, I may one day put one on a label. :)

Thanks! The bats are New Zealand short-tailed bats, the only native mammal in NZ.

We are brewing our own beer in the licensed and legal nano-brewery we built in our rumpus room/basement. We have all the licenses to sell wholesale, still working on the last bit of paperwork to be able to sell retail/cellar door/farmer's market. The bottles were bought in bulk new, clean and empty. The labels were totally printed on our laserprinter with cheap coloured paper. The glue came from the hardware store.
