There have been many, many instances of walking into the bathroom to see the floor covered from wall to wall in a carpet of feathers. We had a giant fat cat that was the most amazing birder. She's lay very quietly under the feeder with a pile of feed between her paws and wait. When one got there she just smacked down on it with one paw. A bib would have just been a red carpet to her mouth.

Sorry to hear that she has both escaped the bib AND wreaked her furry vengeance on you, when you were only trying to reconcile her to her fate. *winces* KittySprinboard!feeling is not a good feeling, I remember that.
