I got my cats to deliver live mice to me by calling them Mighty Hunters, catching the mouse under something, and feeding them soft cat-food, which apparently tastes much better than mouse. (Less fur and bone, anyway.)
Okay, it's only one of them that definitely will bring the mouse over to collect the reward, but he's usually the one with the squeaking toy in the first place, so it works.
Whoa. So maybe if we gave her the cat treats she is so wild for every time she caught a mouse, she would start intentionally bringing us mice? I must discuss the Mighty Hunter potentials with Meesto...
Might work! Basically, I'd hear a mouse screaming, and I'd try to catch it, then call them Mighty Hunters and give them soft food. But Dickens is jealous of his mice! So one time I just started saying, "Mighty Hunters!" and he ran to the food bowls, dropping his mouse nearly at my feet. He's done this 2-3 times now -- he clearly knows what all this means! (I don't pay up for dead mice, though. I just throw them out for the raccoons or whatever.)
This does tend to breed for Loud Mice, too, for whatever that's worth...

Weddings are so very stressful. I hope y'all have time for yourselves in all this.
Does he use a pasta machine of any sort, or does he roll by hand?
