Character's canon: World of Warcraft game (she's a player character, so I guess she's kind-of an OC)
Brief (around 300 words) personality outline of your character: Oh lord, where do I start? Choline is a generally social, smiling person. For the most part she's amicable and quite a loyal friend. She's a hedonist, and therefore a bit of a bad influence, but what she does is mostly out of fun. Darker motivations may drive some of her actions, but for the most part she is a genuinely happy person. She likes to listen to people, she likes to sing and dance and she's certainly very adventurous.
But she's the sort of person who you would not like if you made her angry. She is not afraid to kill, and can do so cleanly, quickly, and without much emotional wrangling over it. She is not one to double-cross, but she does remember what she sees and hears and can and will tip people off about it if she sees an advantage there. She's got a lot of past issues about the wars she was in and often turns to drinking or sex as a way to get by it, when she does have flashbacks (Which aren't that often; she's as well-adjusted as she can be.)
She's got a bit of duality about her, as all people invariably do, but she's tried her best to acknowledge and move past the bad aspects of herself on the way to becoming a better person. Events immediately post-podpop may cause her to regress a little bit into her darker side, but she'll come around eventually.
I should also mention that she is strangely spiritual; having met and lived with someone who has led a very ascetic, spiritual-based life, she now has a bit of a faith system and now, more often than not, does things for the greater Good as opposed to doing things solely for her personal benefit.

I am going to provide World of Warcraft Wiki links to key terms in this history because if I had to explain everything this would turn into an essay. WoW lore is not simple, nor is it short.
Choline Moonstorm was born in Astranaar, Ashenvale about 370 years before the Third War. WoW doesn't really provide age equivalencies, but if she was a human, she'd be somewhere between the ages of nineteen and twenty-two. She is kaldorei, otherwise known as a night elf (http://www.wowwiki.com/Night_elf).
She's the middle child of three; her older brother, Faravasz, was a druid; her younger brother Slainte a priest. Her father was also a druid, but her mother, Serine, was a prominent member of the Sentinels, the night elf military equivalent.
Choline lived the beginnings of her years in relative seclusion, enjoying a relatively happy life with her parents and brothers. When she was old enough to decide what she wanted to do with herself, she chose to follow her mother and be a Sentinel. As soon as she was considered an adult, she joined the ranks.
She'd only been at the job for a decade or two when the Third War (http://www.wowwiki.com/Third_war) happened. In the hubbub of the war she killed many people, sent many regiments off to their death, and, most tragically for her, lost both of her parents.
When the war was over she ventured to the human lands and took up training as a rogue (http://www.wowwiki.com/Rogue)
. She hired herself out as a general assassin while travelling the lands and doing whatever work paid out the best. Still angry about the current political situation with her people, she steadfastly ignored the vast majority of them and filled her days with assassination contracts, and her nights with drink and pleasure of any kind, from wherever she could get it.
And then she fell off a bridge.
She met a young draenei http://www.wowwiki.com/Draenei_(playable)) paladin named Anatoly, and they began to adventure together. He was a spiritual man, and impressed upon her his belief structure, which she quietly acquired over time. Eventually, the two of them decided to live together as companions and lovers. Her licentious promiscuity all but vanished once she met him. For whatever reason, they seemed to compliment each other and were living happily.
Until the world blew up, and she thought she got killed.
(Basically I'm arranging Choline's backstory as though she'd been podsnatched right before the events that kick off WoW: Cataclysm. In short, the world blew up and hey! She was on the ship.)
If the character has magic, mutant, or otherwise metahuman abilities, please explain what they are and outline EXACTLY how they function, as their powers may not work due to the nature of the ship or may need to be limited somehow:
The majority of her abilities are simply due to training her innate abilities. Rogues in WoW don't operate on magic, but they could still be considered metahuman, so here they are:
Think of Choline as a hit-man. She can garotte, snipe, and stab you in the back!
Choline can vanish into the shadows, becoming extremely hard to detect visually.
She can also sprint for short durations of time, moving 30% faster than she already does (and she's pretty nimble on her feet, she walks quickly and runs even quicker), to get away from danger.
Her preferred weapons are daggers, which she normally laces with poisons to increase their deadliness. Poisons may not be available on board; they're not necessary.
She can also prey upon her enemies' weaknesses: she has abilities that allow her to disarm her opponents or to take advantage of structural weaknesses in armour.
Non-superhuman special abilities of note (Is your character a master ventriloquist? A naturally-occurring super-genius? The best martial artist in the world? Say so here):
She's trained in herbalism; she can identify, harvest, sex and breed many different plants. As well, she's skilled in potion-making. Though, all of this requires materials from her home-world, but with testing she could figure out how to work with other materials.
She also plays guitar and is a good writer, and owns a motorcycle.
