It turns out that you can fix scratches on a DVD by grinding them down with toothpaste. Maybe next I'll try fixing my scratched glasses with a brillo pad.

I wish I had a job at the Costa California school district, where I could buy five million dollars worth of computers with tax money, sell the computers, pocket the cash, burn the paperwork, and then have California state legislators pressure a private contractor to erase the debt fifteen years later.
