Awww! The poor puppy! I like the idea that it's not completely smooth sailing for the boys from day one, because, really it's never smooth for everyone. And as much as I hate to put them through angst at this age knowing what's coming...ya gotta add those early relationship bumps.

So yeah, I can definitely work with this. I just gotta decide if it's a letter to Gianni or Emmaline that's in order... I think Gianni...

Okay, here's what happens. How long after The Night In Question is this letter? I'm thinking Remus has a sleepless night or two, then finally just rows with Sirius -- "Why don't you trust me? Why would you think I'd prank you like that? If you're not interested, why wouldn't you just tell me?" --- which should very much confuse Sirius and it all ends in rumpled bedclothes ;)

Blast, must run, but yes: this is a good path to take, and I'm excited :D

I know. I don't want them to have angst, either, but I knew that Sirius would not go into this without a struggle. He is far too suspicious of people; even Remus!

I was expecting that this letter would be written probably only the next morning after the Night In Question (*giggles*). I can't see Sirius sitting on it for very long as he was somewhat annoyed by Andromeda's comment to him (about always getting what he wants; he was taking it entirely the wrong way, of course!) and that, coupled with Sirius' own insecurities and doubt were the catalyst for all this silliness.

I like the idea of the Remus-prompted row and Sirius very much likes the idea of the rumpled bedclothes at the end of it all. :) Hoo-rah!

Remus's main argument will be that it's been two months. And even if it started as a prank, he's just not the kinda guy who can snog someone for two months without menaing it at least a little! :P And, in fact, of course he means it a lot, so it's time for Sirius to figure out what he wants...and if he's Brave Gryffindor enough to take it when it's offered. *nod* Heee.
