Freddie plopped the package full of food down on the ground and gave her a curious look. "I'm going to guess that you're not talking about the drink? I thought drinking and dangerous watersports were a bad combination." Not that he would object to a drink.

Trixa smiled and waved at the collection of pieces and parts. "The foot straps have to be attached, and mast has to be anchored. The mast sections need to be slid together and the sail needs to be slid on. Then there's the boom that needs to be added."

She pointed out each piece as she spoke, so that Freddie could start to acquaint himself.

Foot straps. Mast. Boom. Freddie's lips twitched. "Are you sure you're not talking about some kind of high tech instrument of pornography?" He knew she wasn't, of course. If she had been, she would have been a lot more subtle than that. He just couldn't help the images that he was getting because of the words she was using. He was damned. He was definitely damned.

Trixa considered letting it go, but after a beat she did give him a sly smile, "Guess you'll never know, Freddie, what with your monogamy and everything."

She started pulling the pieces together, straps first and began attaching them.

"How's your sense of balance?"
