It was a windy but sunny afternoon in Central, and Aly hadn't had to talk Roy into taking the afternoon off so much as show up at HQ and suggest it.  It was weird how it worked that way

Roy snorted. "Somehow I don't think she'll be very impressed with it."

"No?" Aly asked. "I can't imagine what you mean."

"Maybe I should get you one," he suggested, reaching to catch her hand. "You could pass for a queen."

She threaded her fingers through his, squeezing lightly. "You want to be a king, huh?"
