After having breakfast with Percy, Poseidon, still dressed in the Bermuda shorts, Hawaiian shirt and fisherman's hat, had excused himself to meet his teachers. For most of Percy's life, that had his mother's job so Poseidon was taking his chance when he could.

Percy had rolled his eyes and told him that wasn't necessary but Poseidon had insisted and he was now standing in the doorway of this office, smiling warmly.

Aly looked up and just barely managed not to wince at the overwhelming brightness of godhood that surrounded the man. Hm, wonder whose 'parent' this one could be - only three choices really. She stood up, smiling with a bit of amusement as she beckoned him in. "Welcome. I'm Aly."

He probably knew that already, being a god and all, but hell if she was going to kneel to a god wandering around in human form.

"One of my son's professors," he said as he stepped inside and glanced around. "I was afraid I'd gotten lost and was going to have to ask directions. Wouldn't have have been embarrassing?"

Oh the door was open. That would make this easier. Micky, wearing a Mexican style poncho over her armless torso found herself momentarily distracted by the child picking the locks.

"I'm Aly," she agreed, standing up to offer her hand to the woman. "I teach this class, yes, and yes, it's about non-metaphorical revolutions. Do you have a student in my class?"
