Aly was in her office again to meet with those visitors who hadn't been by the day before. Lianna had refused to come again, citing terminal boredom and insisting she was going exploring. Derek stopped at the office door, checking the number again as he looked inside. So this was the revolutions teacher who didn't like to be called Professor?

"That'd be me," she replied, looking up at the newcomer with a smile. The smile nearly faltered as she realised just how on edge this guy looked. "Come in if you're looking for me; stay out there if you just wanted to know my name."

He nodded and came in the room, eyes checking every corner instinctively. "I'm Derek Reese," he said by way of greeting. "My little brother's in your class." Derek jerked his chin towards her collection of locks. "That what you're teaching him?"

"Not yet," Aly said, glancing down at the locks. "Might cover it later in class though. Never a bad idea to be able to get in where people don't want you." She gave the guy a little smile. "Kyle's your brother? I see the resemblance."

More in the attitude and tenseness than anything else.
