A really sad,albeit hilarious fact is the more testosterone that gets pumped into my body, the less I enjoy watching "The View"; which is kind of sad because it's one of the only morning shows I really watch whenever i'm home during the day. It seems like Barbara Walters is slowly becoming the crypt-keeper & the other ladies are merely bobble heads

The only game shows I watch are wheel of fortune & who wants to be a millionaire (the Meredith Viera version that is).

Luckily, i'm off soap operas. Daytime ones anyways.
Ohh, Jamie-They are filming a telenovela here in Durham & i'm going to try and get on an episode! There was an article this morning that says they have no hispanic actors in this area. I bet I can get a small part!

it comes on pax but i haven't been able to find it since i moved to durham, tragic. i have adored that show and wanted to go on that show since i was like, 11. you are so right about always knowing the prices of shit when you grow up poor.

it's all about the huge meats! huge cheeses! huge things of diapers and cough medicine! that's the way to go!

i stopped watching the view when this woman from gainesville who got raped was on. she was a stripper and got raped while working at a frat party. she was talking about why she chose that career, and explaining it was the only job where she could make enough to support her kids and still be able to go to college to better herself. one of the women on the view said "well, look where it got you." i yelled and screamed at the tv, then changed the channel. i've never watched it again.

That's beyond fucked up; I think I heard about that when it happened but didn't see it.
They can be pretty gross.
I used to like to watch it & get angry at how ridiculous they are, now i'm just bored & over it.

As for this,

Star Jones' sassiness was apparently stored in her body fat as girlfriend has become dull as dish water.

I'd never noticed before, but you're right! Since she became skinny, she just seems washed-out and kinda bland. Not good in the TV biz.

Part of me wonders how long "The View" will last as it has gone down so far in quality.
