Nope. Through context clues, I figured out that you were supposed to give her her present on Friday, and then assumed you would give it to her at the beginning of the day, since that's the best time for present giving.

I could, of course, be wrong, and if I am, it would be the third time in recorded history that that has happened. J/k. :-)
