[The feed was blank for several moments, someone hadn't quite figured out how to work the strange and newly-discovered device in his hand. Several button smashes later and the video turned on. Residents of Demeleier might recognize the green tunic, blue eyes, and pointy ears but it wasn't the same person

[She turns on the video, smiling, always happy to see Link and say hello...until she takes a closer look at the screen and hears his words. There's something...off here, that much she knows, and her expression turns to one of concern as she tries to figure it out.]

Link? Are you alright?

[Fortunately for Zelda, someone had all ready explained that the strange device he held was actually a communicator of sorts. He paused and looked.

Princess Zelda!

Or was it?]

[She spends a moment studying him, her suspicions growing by the second.]

You're not him...

[Not him? He looked down at himself confused for a moment thinking he had transformed into a wolf or perhaps something worse. He wasn't. Eyes blinked curiously at the princess on the screen.

Truth be told, she didn't look quite the same either. Had her hair always been this gold?]

[His silence, more than his confusion, confirms that. But he is a Link, though not her Link, which means he must know a different Princess Zelda, right? Even though the first person he called out to was a 'Princess Midna'...]

Do you recognize me?

[triforcewielder]

[At her question he pondered waiting for a few moments before speaking.]

Princess Zelda. [He was certain now.] You're not her.

[She nods. As she had suspected. She reasons that he must be from another time. Now to figure out whether he came from her future, like the other Zelda, or from her past...]

Do you know the legend of the one who shares your name, the Hero of Time?

[It feels weird to refer to her friend that way, but she knows her Link was viewed as a legendary hero in the other Zelda's time. If this Link hasn't heard of him, it is more likely that he came from the past.]

[He wasn't sure about the 'Hero of Time' but he had been told he shared a name with someone. He touched at his tunic.]

This tunic...[But could it be the Hero of Time?] belonged to someone with my name.

[He gave a shrug. No one had ever really explained it much.]

[That doesn't tell her enough to be sure, but she has a feeling. Just maybe he's one of her Link's descendants. Her own descendant was in Deme as well...which gives her a thought.]

The Zelda that you know, does she look older than me? Perhaps with darker hair, brown instead of blonde?

[triforcewielder]

[He gave a very enthusiastic nod. Darker hair, older by a bit... she's perfect and wise.]

[She doesn't want to get his hopes up, in case it's just a coincidence, but she has a good feeling about this, and she never ignores such a feeling.]

I believe she is here in Demeleier, though I do not know where she is at the moment. It is likely that she has selected a room for herself in the Mansion.

[triforcewielder]

[A mansion? Link could do mansions. That didn't sound like much of a problem at all. He grabbed his sword with another hand assuming this was another adventure.]

Will you be able to find your way on your own? [He is a Link. He should be able to do anything.]

[triforcewielder]

[He nods. Of course he can find his way. He is like... he is like, the boss. He can do anything. Mostly.]

[thehandofwisdom]

[And of course she believes in him. She smiles into the video.]

After you have found her, please come and see me as well.

[She's curious and wants to meet you, future Link.]

[triforcewielder]

[Making him wait to see her is a curious request but he doesn't say anything. Zelda's always did have a way of avoiding him somehow. Not that he'll ever bring it up. He gave her a not-so-enthusiastic nod.]
