could be iron, could be something else... i'd see a doctor. you should not supplement iron unless you know you're deficient.

I'm a vegetarian and when its training season I take a multi-vitamin and additional B-complex supplement. I'm still tired, but not overly exhausted. I recommend talking to your PCP about possible iron deficiencies as well.

I had the same issue, requested the same advice (in runners I think) and one person suggested a B complex supplement, said it worked for her... and it worked for me too.

Just a suggestion.. are you watching your resting hear rate? The first thing in the morning before you even roll over to do Anything else, take your HR, do this for a few days and see if there is any change. Yes you could be deficient in some minerals esp iron, but you could be over training as well. Some times training plans need to be adjusted to the individual not followed line by line. If your diet was sufficient for the training you were doing before and you are making sure your iron, protein intake is sufficient, you might consider a modification of the training program.

are you refueling with protein (quality whey protein powder) right after workouts? when I started doing this it made a HUGE difference in my recovery rate. I could feel it working.
