Did my first 140.6 in August (IMC) and it wasn't that bad.
Definitely hadn't run 17 miles and had only run 4-5 times in the 2 months leading to the race as a result of injuries. Also, given a loss in motivation, I hadn't swam for 2 months.
Time was 12:19 and felt fine. While not stellar in the time department, its respectable.
Good luck and look forward to reading about it.
Rest up, relax, breathe, surround yourself with positive and motivational friends and you will excel when you do it.
