My cousin is in that unit (from Maine) that got attacked today in Iraq. I wonder if he's OK. We wont find out until his wife returns from Florida. He seemed ready for whatever pain was going to come.
I remember how he described "desert" when he was in it. How he could feel the force of an explosion about a mile away hit his face. My thumb is warm
