Yikes. I'm sorry to hear that... *hugs*

I recall one time when a cat hopped behind a washer and broke a pipe - and water went everywhere. The grandfather of my then-girlfriend drilled holes in the floor in order to drain it all out - don't do that [lol].

We called around and got someone to come out and it's working now. Plus, he's gonna be back out Wednesday morning to get the proper drop in the line so water wont find low spots and freeze.
Total for both things will be around $400. So very worth it.

Yea, it was all amusing - after the fact [lol]. Turns out very little was grounded in that house as well and I was all barefoot in the inch or two of water, hopping around electrical things. Not so bright... but not so informed either. :D

Hmmm, doesn't sound like a bad price to pay to get it all sorted. Plus, as you've mentioned, it is a good thing to let others do some stuff. ;)
