today I met my Japanese exchange student, Emi. She's really small and really cute! Tomorrow we're going to the Roots & Blues... we have lots in common, and we both speak just enough of each other's language to get along really well.

This week is gonna rock.

That's so neeeeat! I'm glad you feel that you're going to get along so well. With me I think it'd be harder (even without the differences in languages) because I'm so initially antisocial. I'd have to be paired with someone who would constantly try and be my friend in order to actually get there, and even then I might find them annoying for trying so hard.

Sometimes I wish I was better at meeting people.
