man in our avaricious appetite to consume, live better and easier is stripping mother earth of her lifeline. stupidly killing their own kind through unstoppable greed. the rich hold most responsibility for the harm caused to the environment but it is the poor who are first to suffer the brunt of consequences. feeble attempts are made but ( Read more... )

i still believe in "doing your part" at least in helping people in poverty etc. at least you know you've made an impact on someone's life.

but the environment.....that's some collective effort needed to make a difference but i'm sure every little bit helps. and you know you tried..

idealistic seems misplaced in a realistic situation. i'm not being a pessimist but rather one who knows her limits. i don't know. it's just how it's turned out? i'm guessing everyone's got their place to take and part to do. i'm focusing here and possibly creating programs and edugames. :)

im just lamenting "the state of the world" (haha) but i do know my limits too.
great cause the laptop giving and i've have bookmarked it - i'm now focusing on children in africa.
