I'm so glad I'm alive too. :)trigonometryMarch 17 2004, 17:22:56 UTC
Climbing makes me feel so... alive. It's been making me feel more in tune with my life and everything around it.
Can you think of anything you do that's comparable to what I'm describing? I've always enjoyed your comments lots (no, not just because you're always saying nice things to me :)).. feel free to drop me an e-mail any time: kym.phan@aerosim-research.com :)
Anyway, try a gym. www.rockclimbing.com/forums <--- find a local gym and partner. I, personally, get off on the support system. Besides, you can't climb by yourself anyway.. at least until you get good enough to boulder. :)
You've been to Aerosim.. we're at 1374 Logan Ave., Unit E.... Rockreation is at 1300 Logan Ave. :w00t!:
I usually jog around Logan as part of my warm up before I go climbing. Wanna come some time? I climb Tuesday and/or Thursday nights, 7:30-8:30, and weekends (either Saturday or Sunday) from around 12:00-3:00. Those are the gym's hours for "climb time", which is a really good opportunity for beginners to learn technique. You can either find a belay partner or have one of the instructors at the gym belay for you. It's $10/hour, equipment included (shoes, harness, chalk).
Gimme a call if you want to go some time :) 714.356.3005
