Update, once more!
So, 2 sessions have passed, mostly due to....fueding, we haven't been getting much done. I blame Mike mostly, cause he just wants to argue over -every- little thing, and its ruining the fun of the RP as a whole.
After a brief respite in Two Rivers, the party decided to return to their Sindarian School. They arrive, and go up into the school, only to find the school seemingly, frozen in time. Nothing was moving, or reacting, Camille was in the teleporter room, her hair flowing behind her, as she was apparently running towards the teleporter.
The party explores the school, finding the whole place in this regard, feeling a pull towards the audotorium once more, they return, finding a cloaked figure in the center, standing in front of the Tablet of Destiny(which I finally got printed out, so I can start writing in who is what star) She introduces herself as Zenobia, she is one of the stars of destiny, and can see all possible futures. The party asks her a few questions, but, all they get in return are riddles and more questions. Zenobia does offer one nugget of true information however, in that, one among the group, inside the school, can not be trusted, everyone has their suspicions now, but, none has proof. From there, time resumes and they move on, looking for Camille, but, they'd forgotten that she was already heading to the teleporter, and was gone already.
Rhoadin, annoyed by Camilles disappearance, heads down to see Landon, who is excitedly looking over the first Golem, he tells Rhoadin to gather the others, and bring them down, Rhoadin begrudgingly does, and Landon shows them what he was so excited about, a wrist communicator with a wind rune embedded inside of it, activates around Landons wrist and the golem comes to life, Upon the Golems forehead, is a Wind Rune, One Earth Rune on each leg, and a pair of Fire Runes, one on each arm, Landon demonstrates the Golems movement, fire cannon abilities, and how the communicator works. Noting, that verbal commands do not work, only the use of the communicator gets the golem to respond.
After talking to Jonas, who Oniryu had asked to make them new Kobold weapons(the highest quality that can be crafted), Oniryu learned to craft weapons, and blacksmith up to level 9, but without a Bronze Hammer, Jonas said that they could not smith to higher levels. Jonas speaks of his mentor, a lion kobold named Roan, who Jonas thinks is in possession of the hammer. Roan had moved to the Grasslands, to retire and live out his last days in rest and relaxtion. They decide to take Aeria, Gregory and Jonas as well.
Feeling they need a change of pace, the party decides to split up, Oniryu and Rhoadin deciding to stay in the school and learn more about this new Golem that is now working, and see if tey can help repair the next, to speed up the process. Xander and Azure decide to make for the Grasslands, to try and find Roan. Passing through Tinto, They run into Camille there, she'd been running all over the countryside, looking for them, Apparently Landon had sent her to find them, to tell them of the Golem. Camille hands Xander a rune, one that she said someone had given her, but, she didn't know his name. The rune glows and pulsates with power, before jumping onto Xanders left hand, and removing the water rune, forcing it off.
Sending Camille on her way, telling her to be safe, they move into Crom proper, and see a gathering at the Tavern, apparently, something was going on...
Going inside to investigate, they find that the blacksmith of Tinto and a unknown man, a warrior, obviously, stands there in the center, claiming the murder of 6 of his knights, its then that the party realizes his armor he wears, skull plate over his body, a skull helmet over his head, wanting answers, anything that could help him find what had happened. Offering a large reward for any who had information. Azure and her group hang back and wait till the tavern empties, even waiting till the Tinto smith was gone, before they went to the table where the knight now sat, downing liquer like there was no tomorrow, obviously depressed and distraught.
Azure stood near him and said she might have information he wanted, he perked up and looked over, she then, explained the situation, with Aerias map, showing where they had been, why they decided to follow the coastline, to avoid any such encounters. The knight called them damn fools. The party, thinking he spoke of them, was about to take offense, when he looked up at them, telling them, that they were recruits, and nothing powerful should have been in the area, surprised that they hadn't even tried to talk to the group, he was disappointed in his own recruits, they were new to the knighthood, and he thought they were ready for a simple patrol. Azure gave up her skull blades, to him, to show her remorse for their actions.
The man stood and offered his services, his knight order was known as a group that hunted undead, be it undead ghouls, or vampires. He asked where the vampire was, the one who had turned his knight. They said he wasn't with them, but back at their school, he asks, if he can go there, with his knights and interrogate the vampire, as well as re-inforce the guard. They accept the knights, and the man sends a messenger to his knighthood. Telling them where to go, and to guard the school until his return. They ask why he wants to talk to this vampire, and he asks if he has a rune, they acceed that he does, and show their own, Xander, his true Lightning and True Radiance runes, Azure shows her True Dragon. Saying that 2 others were amongst them, and before they can ask, he says 'They bear the True Beast, and True Blue Moon...don't they?' The party agrees, and, then the man asks...
"Where is Sierra? Where is my wife!?" Xander panics a moment, but, Azure calms him and tells him what happened. That 4 Rune bearers came into their town, wounded grievously, and nothing they could do, could undo the wounds, and the 4 passed away. The Knight finally tells them his name is Jerim, and he was the leader of the knights, he'd met Sierra a few years ago and asked her to be his wife, along with the vampires, they'd trained many humans, to also be vampire hunters, should any go rogue, like Neclord had, oh so long ago. Jerim, mourning his wifes passing, but still wanting to meet this new bearer regardless, offers to travel with the party, Azure accepts his offer, and Jerim gets them a free room in Crom, for the night.
2 more days, till they arrive at the edge of the grasslands, a thick forest between Milit and Karaya village. Deciding to take a break, resting just outside the forest. Azure keeps seeing something in the forest, an arrow flies past her, and Xander is soon standing before her, to protect her from anyone. The pair recognizes the arrow, as one that had a quill exactly like the one that Rhoadin had found in his beloved's chest. An elf steps forward, seeing Xander, he bows his head and apologizes for his actions, he hadn't known an elder traveled with a human, and meant no disrespect. Xander asked the elfs name, and he replied that it was Jylander, Xander asks the elf to return to his Yggdrasil, to go see if he can re-inforce the guards there, or teach them better archery, the elf not about to refuse a elders offer, accepts and after seeing on the map where the Yggdrasil was, he is disenheartened, but, goes anyway, elves are always men of their word.
Azure sends a letter through the mirror, to the school, Viki recieves it, and hands it over to Rhoadin, he reads it and asks Oniryu to immediately come with him to the Yggdrasil, the pair soon depart, moving with haste past the ruins of Warmhaven(Avoiding it by a good distance, and the undead dragons that reside there) before moving downt to the Yggdrasil(with Camilles help, of course, they arrive within the day), and rest amongst its leaves, waiting for Jylander to arrive, Rhoadin, fuming and shaking with anger, paces around the tree, Oni, not feeling too comfortable around the elves, goes down to the trunk as well, and rests around the roots, finding it more relaxing and comfortable.
