On top of the relocation from Munich to Sydney, kids and I traveled twice to Indonesia and husband was traveling outside the continent way too often. All in all (plus the adaptation to Australia of course) sucked up all our energy :D.
If you like coastal living, Jerry, NSW is really the place to go! Well kept beaches with facilities enough to entertain everybody will give you an illusion that life is very easy heheh
Thanks for sharing this! It's nice to see that you got the chance to get out of your hole. It looks like you really tried to "look at the bright sight of life" in its literal sense :) I hope the two days could help you to get the metaphorical sense of it too. I hope you are feeling a lot better now and that your soft tendon will get better. I hope to catch you again soon on the messenger :) p
Kids and I actually traveled to Indonesia twice and husband went on business trips to Europe and the US very often within these two years .. that's why we didn't have to energy to enjoy things beyond Sydney :D. The constant packing-unpacking and adaptations made us really tired.
The thing is also, I'm not an outdoor person while it's actually NSW's strongest attraction. I'm still conquering my fear of insects and the wilds LOL ..

Seriously: this looks like a splendid spot really. Quiet. Sun ( though obviously not every day) and water. And those divine creatures, the dolphins.
Not bad, not bad at all.
By the way: the kids have grown especially grown even more adorable.Just a shame I only heard your choice but didn't see a photo of yourself :(.
