Nightmares

The setting is my old house in Hull. I am sleeping, when I am awakened by screaming. Brian is already running downstairs. we find our son outside on the lawn lying in a pool of blood. My daughter is running down the street away from a truck that is fallowing her, it has 3 men in it. a driver and 2 gun man. Brian runs back to the house for his gun

Ultimately only you can know for sure what it means, but my guess would be that it is playing into your fears of losing the wonderful things you have found lately. You are finally enjoying school and planning on getting married, but in your life you've experieced a whole shitload of setbacks. You've lost many things that you cared about. Now you're afraid of losing things again. If you can acknowledge what the dream is trying to make you aware of (ie. your fear of loss) then hopefully you will stop having the nightmares and stop worrying that something terrible is going to happen if Brian is not around. Try not to let the dreams make you even more anxious, they're not portents of doom, just your subconscious trying to let you know that you need to let go of fear if you're really going to appreciate and enjoy the gifts that life has to offer.

wow even Brian couldn't explain it the way you did. I didn't think you cared so much or remembered the stuff we talked about some many years ago....
last night was the first night in like almost a month that I had relatively good dreams, or ok enough that I didn't wake up paniced
