what peace i know, what joy i feel
what hope is found, the dream is still
alive...

takes a dive over the edge
into the unknown
hits hard, collides
rushes smoothly, effortlessly
for a time
then it meets currents pushing against its flow
rocks that push it back
causing pain-labor-yet the flow
is still effortless

moving gracefully through each
encounter that brings opposition-
its on a journey and has a destination!
