Once again it has been quite a while...
Sometimes I wish that I had a plethora of free time so that I could continually update my journal. However, on the other hand- my updates would really be quite boring. The only thing I can ever post about on any semi-consistent basis is the fact that work sucks.
Don't get me wrong, I really don't mind doing what I do. There are just many things associated with my employment that have been going downhill lately. One of the positive things is that I got another raise. That always makes one happy, even if only for a short period of time. Shortly after getting my raise I realized that, as I live in a community where your rent is determined by your income- my rent would indeed go up.
So although I have more money coming to me, I really have the same or less to spend due to the increase in my rent. That in itself is not a difficult fact to come to grips with. When you mix in all of the other things that are brewing right now though, its enough to give anyone a stress rash. I know that it has certainly given me one.
I don't want to bore anyone with the details. Just know that it hasn't been fun. Well, my attention is currently being demanded and I cannot ignore the call of one so cute. So my update will have to wait.
