My week (well, more like 5.5 days discounting travel time) of holiday break went well, though all too quickly. Christmas was great, received enough things (mostly kitchen and apartment filling type stuffs) that my family had to pay to ship two massive boxes UPS back to my place in WA. Christmas Stand-Down is finally here! WHEEEE! I only have to work on Monday (though actually I have duty, so I have to be on the ship from Monday morning to Tuesday morning) - then Tuesday night I'm taking a red-eye flight home. Well my computer is fixed now, at least. Turned out to be the RAM had a bad connection, so reseating it did the trick. Of course that connection still succeeding in corrupting my old HD's window install to hell so I guess buying my sweet 250GB drive WAS worthwhile after all.
