Oh my gosh, as soon as my Facebook Newfeed (aka the ultimate source news for the world, of course) reported that you joined the New York, NY network, I hurried my boring midwestern bum over here to confirm the news. CONGRATS! HOW ABSURDLY EXCITING! An hour from home is kinda the perfect distance... enough for independence/justification for moving out fast, yet still close enough for home-cooked food and beach access. I'm so happy for you! Manny isn't living with you (yet), right?? Though I'm sure even in the tinier space, it'd be tres easier than living with the two other Texan manmates you've had in the past.
My mother conveniently planned the New York/LI trip during my first week of work (claiming she 'forgot when I started', but secretly plotting ways to make me quit/get fired), but I have to get out to NY soon. My life has been Diana-less for too, too long.
