He also gave me a flyer for his acoustic stuff last night. I really ought to check it out.
Man, last night was amazing. Now I'm just hoping that I have work off again at an opportune time (like when Punchline is in Denver) so I can see em again. haha

It's awesome that you're straight edge.

It's always cool meeting other straight edge kids in unexpected places. :)

i've never heard Steve sing 'fuck up my life', wow. lol i want to hear it now.
my god, the thought never EVER crossed my mind for Open Up to be about losing your virginity, but yeah i guess i never thought about the meaning of the song that much.
fuck i'm dense. "When it's over then you'll wish that you had waited." "will you wake up to me." jesus christ, haha.
"Alright, sing after me. Even a heart transplant..." "Even a heart transplant" "Wouldn't show you how I feel would it baby." Reva and I pretty much kept intentionally fucking it up.
when he did that at my show i kept effing up just cause my brain was going 'sing it right!' haha. i swear it was because i started cracking up really loudly (i was in the front row) that he stopped and they went on doing the song the normal way ;)
it's always cool looking directly at someone in a band, whether they're the lead singer or not, while they're singing, while your mouth forms the same notes, and they sing straight at you.the best ( ... )

I remember my first. There were 5 people watching them. I was the only one into it.
My favorite line that steve sings live is..
"I'm not afraid anymore, give me a rasin and i'll show you what im fighting for"
I have a video of that somewhere.
Im happy you finally saw/met them :)

Putting it down on paper, so I don't forget it all later, as if I could, if I tried anyway...
