Dear Yuletide Author!

Thank you for taking an interest in these fandoms, and thank you ahead of time for writing me a story! I love all of these fandoms and the characters, so I’m really excited to read everything about them! Of course, these are just some ideas, not requirements!

As for some ideas on what to write, I really love AU and alternate realities. Specifically:

1. Post-Apocalyptic or Dystopian! Or Post-Apocalyptic Dystopian! Even more than that, though, I basically love stories that examine the ways characters respond to a major change in their environment and how their dynamics and relationships with others change as well, for better or worse.
2. Uni AU is also pretty great. Characters supporting each other when they’re studying (or distracting them), trying to balance studies with work (and relationships), trying to stay in contact with old friends who have moved far away to go to school elsewhere… just real life things and how characters make it work (or how they don’t make it work).
3. Sports teams! Enough said. But really, I just really love looking at dynamics between characters, rivalries, teamwork, or struggling as a team but making things work in the end.
4. Supernatural elements! Ghosts, vampires, werewolves, reapers, witches… really, anything goes.

I love all of my fandoms and would love to read about any of the characters! But here are some ideas of fandom-specific things that I would especially like, if possible:

• Monsta X: I have a lot of feelings about Monsta X and NO.MERCY that I could talk about for days, but to narrow it down for this year’s Yuletide, I would really love attention given to Hoseok and his abilities. In NO.MERCY he showed that he’s a strong, talented leader (and Team Segyero was EVERYTHING), but I feel like he isn’t recognized for it. If you decide to go with AU or alternate reality, that’s great too! I would just really love to have his strengths highlighted, whatever they may be in whatever universe he’s in! Also, just to throw it out there, ships (romantic or not) that I have interest in are Hyunwoo/Kihyun, Hoseok/Kihyun, and Hyunwoo/Minhyuk.
• B.A.P: Basically, I really love their entire group dynamic. My favorite thing is Daehyun and Youngjae being best friends and bantering/teasing each other (and the other members). I also really like the thought of Yongguk being a good role model for Junhong, and Junhong looking up to him.
• Seventeen: Ever since the confessions on Seventeen Project about the strained relationship that existed between Seungcheol and Jihoon for a while, I’ve really been interested in looking more at their dynamic in particular.
• VIXX: I love Hakyeon being friends with everyone, and I love stories that involve Taekwoon slowly coming out of his shell. Bonus points if those are somehow related!
• Winner: I was a fan of Team A during WIN, but I felt like they didn’t really feel like a team until near the end of the show. By that I mean… especially in the beginning, they felt more like five individuals rather than one team. I would love any fic that runs with this idea of slowly coming together.

Crossovers are also great! I especially like Monsta X/Seventeen and Monsta X/GOT7 interactions. I’m completely okay with darker themes too! But if you do go with something darker, or if there is a sensitive topic, please show it for what it is. If there's an unhealthy relationship, show it as being unhealthy--not romantic. If a character kills somebody, please show them as having appropriate reactions like guilt, and if they don’t have those reactions, then show how disturbing this is.

Having romantic pairings is okay as well! I like gen and ships. It also doesn’t have to just be between two characters either! But, in any case, I would prefer nothing sexual.

• terminal illnesses
• co-dependency
• crackfic
• characters as young children

I also do not like reader/self-insert or first or second person pov, so please do not use those!
