holy jesus i had a MUN buddy that had to wear hearing aids from having scarlet fever in india when he was a small child

yeah. that seems to be the consensus. fortunately I overcame my anti-doctorness and went in when it was only a rash.. now within 12 hours it's gotten ridiculously worse, but the antibiotics should be kicking in soon. untreated, it can get bad.. but I should be okay.
