and i'm feeling a little uneasy about the seating now, since my tickets are:ORCHESTRA RIGHT, Row R, Seat 2

but thanks for answering. I didn't had too much hope of the stage door, or intervals, but depends on the circumstances (meaning if there is a lot of people or not- i might risk it; but chances are on the No, since from what you describe and from videos of stage door i seen it's just as bad as the premiere barrier and i will not go through that again)
at least I get to see the play now, and again in the future.

Seems if you could get a good shot of the marquee from the hotel room window, they didn't try too hard to accommodate you with a room overlooking 44th St. Or, am I wrong?

You are quite right on the hotel. Our window was overlooking 8th Avenue. We could see the Shake Shack and the marquee from our window.
We hated that you were not with us, but at least we already know we'll all be there together at the end.

But your comment about Dan rising from below the stage ... umm, yeah. I can sympathize. My first time seeing Dan in person was Equus in London and when he walked onto the stage right below me (I was in stage seats), he was shirtless and so close I could literally hear him breathing. I am amazed to this day that my heart didn't stop right then and there.
