major recs for Severus

All That Glitters by Mangoaddict. Gen, long, action, drama. Major Characters are Harry, Snape, Kingsley, and Draco and a couple of Death Eaters. Warning for Minerva's character death. Takes place about 3 years after the war. Snape has been in hiding, but he risks his life (and Azkaban sentencing) to help save Minerva with Shacklebolt's assistance. This is the best continuation of the books, bar none.

Conflict Within by Snapsforsnape. Gen, short, character study. Just a look at who Snape is during his last years of life. Kinda depressing but also spot-on.

Having said that, probably lots of fic from snapecase would be a good place to pull from, including my own, A Separate Joy.

Unfortunately, the best SS/HG piece I know of is on the Petulant Poetess, which she would need a login for as it's locked. "Yea Though I Walk" by Aurette.
