This is just lovely all over. ♥

In particular, I loved Atobe's characterization - it's different from either of the extremes often seen in fandom (oresama!Atobe and benevolentgod!Atobe, that is), and much closer to canon than I think my own Atobe is. >>; Your Atobe's kind of a tool, and a little crazy, and that's basically canon, yeah. XD; I liked him a lot.

I also loved that you avoided all the fandom stereotypes I mentioned loathing - Sanada was decidedly not a battered housewife, nor attached to Yukimura's side like some obsessive girlfriend; Tezuka was not a robot or a piece of toast; Atobe was not shallow or vapid - even Jirou, for his brief cameos, didn't act like he was five years old, or possibly a dog.

That was another thing: the cameos. I don't know why, but two of my favourite parts about this fic were the cameos from Hyoutei's Fab Four and Yamato. (Yamato was maddening. I wanted to marry him a little. ♥) Gakuto and Shishido were spectacular together, Yuushi was appropriately jackassed without being blatant about it,

I struggled with the characterization of Sanada in particular so I'm happy he turned out to your satisfaction (I was hoping the Hyoutei cameos would distract you from him if his personality didn't turn out well lol)

even Jirou, for his brief cameos, didn't act like he was five years old, or possibly a dog. <-- I still laugh everytime I read that. Poor puppy Jirou.

And Yamato so doesn't get enough love so I'm glad you want to possibly marry him (But that may be because he only makes like 2 appearances in the series)

I especially liked the line 'What Sanada lacked in finesse he made up for in passion.' Unspeakably true, and exactly what I love about him. ♥ He's all about the PASSION. Why else would he bitch slap people right? lol
