it's amazing how strong to power of perception is. you've all heard that in every situation you have two choices. mr. dy gave an awesome journal one day in calculus about a man who always chose to be positive, and i tried to live it. sadly, it didn't last for long, BUT i do recognize that while i tried, my life went so much smoother ( Read more... )

Perhaps unrelated, but still interesting:
Why do you feel the need to be gay in everyone's face?

I don't have any problems with gay people, I live in Amsterdam FFS, but I don't get it. It's nothing personal, I see a lot of gay people doing it. I'm not being heterosexual in your face either, am I? o_o

Is it lack of confidence, or the idea that you want people to immediately know that you're gay, to prevent awkwardness when you've got to know them better?

No offense, I'm honestly curious.

What makes you think I'm outwardly gay? :P

Lol, it's definately not a confidance issue :P Those "flamers", or extreme fem. guys have more confidance than you will even know LOL.

If you say so. It may be just another personality they've adopted to hide their unconfident self, though.

Anyway, I don't know if you are in real life, but I just glanced over your journal and the question popped into my head.

So. Why do certain gay people feel the need to be gay in everyone's face?
