Ladies and gentlemen, there is a celebrity amongst us!!!

I speak ofcourse about the very talented Yuri Ozaki who entered the LJ world with this phrase:
"I ll join fighting against Thomas Kinkade."

Perhaps you are not familiar with the works of Yuri Ozaki. She is widely known as a realist but TripiQ has exclusive rights to her abstract pieces which convey every emotion between sadness and anger.

I would if I had extra money to throw down. I just spent a bunch on my car insurance and gotta pick up a set of new tires.

I was more thinking along the lines of the actual techniques she uses to get that visual effect those paintings have. Wonder how she does it.

Wow. I didn't know about this until this morning.
the technique is pretty easy. You may want to go Lowe's or Home Depo and buy a big can of boiled linseed oil , and mix with oil paint, and pour onto some canvas. and wait for 6 month to dry.They are still sticky after almost a year.

well, they used to be different paintings. One was cityscape which I hated, one was a portrait which I hated, one was portrait of my ex boyfriend who was another big fan of Thomas Kinkade.
