Actually I do like that. It's cool looking. And I'm not really into art all that much. But I'd put that up in my crib. Did you take those pictures below it? The grass one reminds me of those pics you put up of yourself laying in the grass. I remember liking those a lot.

All those glass circles were removable, so you could switch em round to wherever you wanted. Also, the metal circles that hold them were all soldered into panels whose order could be switched around. Basically, the whole thing is customisable.
It's based on various things, but the main influence was the way when you stop focusing on a bright light, it turns into a circle. Also, looking up through tree leaves on a sunny day... hence the photos.
I used to have a longer spiel about it, they make you talk alot about what you do when you're at art school. I suppose it's so you can talk to galleries and press and whatnot, but it's probably also responsible for so many big egos.
