I really wish that I was one of those people who could get up in the morning and just totally be ready to go. I am not, unfortunately. Second cup of coffee and my eyes are still kinda...puffy

I love Sonic to pieces, but sometimes I wish that he wasn't quite so...difficult.
But then he wouldn't be a horse! And he certainly wouldn't be YOUR horse. *g* Got any recent pics of him, by any chance? I'd love to see how he's looking these days.
Well, I don't necessarily agree with "then he wouldn't be a horse." A lot of horses that I have started from babies, or retrained from the track have not been this incredibly evasive and stubborn. That's just Sonic. But he is much more difficult than the average training project, not because he is a bucking bronco or a loon (he is neither of those things), but because he is evasive and logical. Good combinations when he's out on course, it will make him a careful and intelligent jumper, but very long, drawn out ones for training! There is a reason that a lot of these OTTBs do not make good horses for the average, happy go-lucky rider, though
